PURPOSE OF RTL-AWE
The purpose of RTL -AWE is to reduce the suffering of animals through education of societies, enhance the capacities and capabilities of activists working for animal welfare and promote humane laws & policies related to animals in countries.
All strategies and Activities are based on RTL tools, templates and practices.

WHAT IS RTL?
RTL is a unique approach and methodology created by Dr. Monica Sharma and described in her book Radical Transformational Leadership. Drawing on more than 30 years of work at the United Nations and elsewhere, she presents a radical new approach to transformational leadership, one that creates systems of change where everyone can engage. The work is about how to sources our inner capacities and wisdom to manifest change that embodies universal values of dignity, compassion and fairness, and simultaneously transform unworkable systems and cultural norms in order to solve problems. Everyone has the potential to be a leader–a person who creates a new future–through actions in society, at home, and at work. RTL is a pathway for unleashing our human potential to generate new futures through strategic actions for equitable and enduring results. Dr. Monica Sharma has worked worldwide designing and delivering learning-in-action programs that equip participants with the practices necessary to generate results for systemic and equitable individual, organizational, and community and policy change.
RTL-AWE'S ROLE
Throughout the world, there are a number of activists that work for reducing the sufferings of animals from different domains, which are, domesticated and pet animals, wild animals, farm animals, animals in entertainment industry and animals in scientific/testing industry. The individuals or groups working for them, do it in their own capacity to reduce sufferings of animals. But there is a lot of scope to improve their capacities and capabilities in their fight for their cause.
RTL-AWE aims to enable these individuals and groups to enhance their capacities and skills based on their universal values, so that they can create a larger shift in their domains. It is also a platform to bring people from different cultures and backgrounds, united by their will to work for animal welfare, so that they inspire each other and work towards a collective impact.
